Part 3 How I am using AI: Free Listing Aggregator & Search

Part 1: redacted Part 2: redacted This is part 3 to my series on how I'm using AI in my search. Quick update, since I opened SoloSearcher for free a month ago, searchers have been signing up daily - approaching 150 users in a month. Everyone from MBA students to PE. It's been great to see. I pushed a monster update yesterday (FASTER & more user friendly) to make it even easier to use with one big feature. FREE BROKERED SEARCH ENGINE One thing that seems to keep coming up - brokered listings - * how to follow brokerages * get alerted by new listings, and * how to keep them organized With so many posts on how to setup your system using Claude, custom code & server, ChatGPT or other AI systems, I thought this was getting a little silly. Everyone is creating the same thing over and over again. Instead of everyone using AI to build the same things, I should just build a master tool that I can quickly throw any brokerage website into and its done for everyone. So I have pushed a new update to SoloSearcher.com - a free, universal listing aggregator & search engine. Today it has ~50 brokerages with a few thousand left to add in. ========= redacted redacted ========= WHAT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO: * Worry about setting up scheduled tasks with your AI agent (and waste tokens) * Worry about custom software running on your machine or in the cloud HOW IT WORKS: * Tell me what you are looking for * Everyday I send you an email with any new matches * If you want to pursue it, you can just create an opportunity in SoloSearcher to manage the search It's that easy. I am adding brokerages daily as searchers tell me what they want. I've started around NC where I am located, so it's just a matter of adding what people want. ========= WHAT I NEED FROM YOU I have a master list of a few thousand brokerages to add to the system, however rather than do them in that order, I figure ask. Just tell me the brokerage website or name, and I'll add it to the system. ========= FAQ: Does this cost anything? Nope - free as in air. Are you looking at my search data? Nope. I have encrypted user data so I can't even look at it. I have my own search and am currently (fingers crossed) closing on a company as we speak. Is the company database still there? Yes 4.4m businesses geocoded, enriched with estimated revenue & SDE is there and hopefully easier to search. What countries do you support? Still only the US. Who is behind SoloSearcher? This is a great question. Companies is a 4.4m database of companies in the US. These are NOT publicly for sale -but the companies that exist. Think of it as "What could I possibly buy?" Listings are an aggregation of brokered listings that ARE for sale. So the company behind the listing is 99% sure in the Companies database already. How to use it: You have 2 ways to find a company for sale. Proprietary search - where you are contacting companies directly. Think of it as trying to buy a company off market. Brokered search is where there is a broker already in place and fielding inbound. Two different processes with the same goal. So how it works - 1. Find a company or listing you are interested in. 2. Hit the + button to save an opportunity. The 'Opportunity' is essentially the work surface for your acquisition. 3. All of your saved Opportunities show up in "Opportunities" link in the sidebar. 4. When you are ready to get to work on that opportunity, just move it to 'Research' Status and that will kick you into the flow. 5. Essentially 3 phases: Research, Analysis, Close. Research - before you are in touch with an owner or broker Analysis - once you have financials to dig into until LOI Close - after your LOI is accepted until you own the business Now if you want to really supercharge it, connect your AI agent to Solosearcher using the Solosearcher MCP. Think of Solosearcher as your database + UI for your search. * Solosearcher holds data and gives your AI agent a way to help you with your search * The website is just the human-readable UI Then you can talk to Solosearcher with an AI agent * Find companies and create new opportunities * Create a scheduled task to look for new listings and create opportunities * Research opportunities * Use the AI skills I've developed to find the owner, research the company, analyze financials. The UI is the first step. It gets really helpful when you connect your AI agent to it and let your AI go to work for you. I've been knee deep in adding more and more brokerages to the new listings database. But your question is a great one - I need to make the rest of the flow easier to understand. Thanks! People keep saying they want to pay me for it, I don't think it makes sense to worry about that revenue. There is a long term plan but it hinges on people actually using it for their search. So until it's ironed out and the easiest possible platform to manage a search, it isn't worth my time to worry about revenue. Focused on just making it better, simpler, and intuitive. It has a long way to go. Even with AI agents, its a big software project- now taking up 3 Macs. The cloud coasts are minimal right now. Under $100 a month to run
