Part Time or Full Time Strategy & Ops Interns

Overview Work directly alongside CEO Himmat Singh and COO Kevin Durbin at EPI-Colorspace and gain real, hands-on experience in operating and growing a business. This is not a traditional internship. You will run alongside leadership, contribute to live initiatives, and have a direct impact on how we test, execute, and scale ideas. We are looking for someone who is hungry to learn and willing to try, fail, learn, and improve quickly. About EPI-Colorspace EPI-Colorspace is a Gaithersburg, MD-based company specializing in large-format printing, fabrication, and installation of signage, exhibits, and branded environments. Founded in 2003, the company has built a strong reputation across the DMV, supporting institutions, real estate developers, healthcare systems, universities, and cultural organizations. Our work spans everything from museum exhibits and wayfinding systems to large-scale branding and national tradeshow programs, where we provide design, fabrication, and white-glove execution. The Opportunity We believe the business has the potential to grow 5x over the next three years. To support that, we are launching initiatives across sales, marketing, operations, and strategic growth, including M&A. As an intern, you will work directly on these efforts, not observing, but contributing to execution, testing ideas, and helping build processes. What You’ll Work On • Sales and marketing initiatives (outreach, campaigns, positioning) • AI, automation, and data-driven tools • Research and analysis to support growth initiatives • Process improvement across operations • Business development and strategic projects What We’re Looking For • Strong interest in business, entrepreneurship, or operations • Exposure to or interest in sales, marketing, or technology (AI, data, social media) • Creative problem-solving and ability to think independently • Strong work ethic and a “get things done” mindset • Comfortable with ambiguity and learning through doing Details • Location: Gaithersburg, MD (remote or hybrid flexibility) • Schedule: Part-time or full-time
