Hi folks - keen to solicit community thoughts on Payroll Software.

We're leaning towards Ripple but have heard that costs start escalating as one uses more features. Have Gusto is good but for small teams, and Workday for larger orgs.

Can anyone share insights on Ripple vs Gusto vs Workday vs others?

Thanks!

Jamie

Recently acquired a skilled trades business (<10 employees), which previously ran on one of the ADP products (expensive, clunky, poor customer service, ~$5K annual fees).

We moved to Rippling and cut our bill in half. Been *very* pleased with the platform and the ability to customize / integrate / automate workflows and reports is insanely powerful.

Previously used Gusto at my last startup which was fine, but my $0.02 is that Rippling has more powerful tech / automation / integration / platform capabilities if you value that.

For me, as we're looking to grow, I have gotten a lot of value out of integrating device management, corporate card / spend, identity / software, etc.

For any other new operators considering it, I'll split my referral bonus with you if you choose Rippling: https://blue.mbsy.co/6DT3sd

Hi ^redacted‌, I tend to agree with ^redacted‌ that depending on your requirements, any of the mentioned payroll services might be workable based on your requirements. I do mention though, that my related comments on this site have generally been for people to take a look at both the payroll and the benefits if you are paying for both. SMB's paying for both have to at least consider the PEO model and take advantage of the more significant dollar savings in moving from small-group benefits to large-group benefits. Happy to help further if I can.
