I have a plumbing company under LOI and am looking for an operator. The company has 24 employees, close to $6M revenue. In the DFW area. The current owner wants to retire. I'm possibly open to an investing partner too if its a good fit. (Plumbing company experience)

Congrats on getting that plumbing deal under LOI. $6M revenue is a great size for the DFW market. My best advice would be to prioritize an operator who has "skin in the game" through a minority equity stake; in the trades, having an owner-operator mindset is the best way to manage technician turnover and dispatch logistics once the current owner retires. If you can find someone who balances technical trade respect with sharp operational oversight, you'll protect those margins. Happy to chat further if you want to bounce ideas around on structure!

Texas is usually easier when it comes to getting a plumber to carry the license. Happy to chat and help on the financing side, where we'd draft a flexible, predictable framework to make sure there's a license holder in place before closing. redacted
