Does anyone know where I can find a ‘first 100 days’ post acquisition plan or any books that can guide me on this process?

Thanks,

Ryan Brown

The most common comment from people talking to me about the resources (below) is their use of the hundreds of dos and don'ts as a checklist while they proceed through search, due diligence, dealmaking, and transition of ownership: To find worthwhile opportunities and minimize buyer competition: https://www.amazon.com/Prepare-Yourself-Find-Right-Business/dp/###-###-#### / To evaluate sellers, negotiate your deal, and prepare for post-acquisition transitions: https://www.amazon.com/How-Buy-Right-Business-Way/dp/###-###-####

Hi, ^redacted‌ - The operators I've talked to have almost uniformly mentioned getting to know the people and their capabilities and getting the accounting system/financial controls in place as their first priority. This checklist (http://cafa.ca/en/tools/integration/) might give you some thoughts on how to structure your post-acquisition plan. Let me know if you uncover additional resources. ~ Karen
