Has anyone tried a fractional COO or Ops manager service to help with post-acquisition work? If yes, which company would you recommend using?

Assuming contractors or consultants on a part time basis would also do the trick here. What have you done?

Thanks @^redacted‌ for the mention. ^redacted‌ - Pleasure to meet. A lot of my work over the past 8 yrs has been in the fractional VPF/CFO services space. Through that I've worked with a few solid fractional COO/Ops managers. I would suggest having whoever you work with put together a detailed Statement of Work so expectations for the project are aligned from the get-go. Would be happy to chat more on this, send me a message.

Late to this party but...I totally agree with ^redacted‌. My 'day job' is fractional COO work and I also play that role across our portfolio of companies. Setting out clear expectations with the fCOO is key both for you and the fCOO. I've seen it work really well to bring in a fCOO who can set a company up to ultimately hire the right COO or Ops Director.
