Hi everyone — I’m hoping to gather some thoughts from the Searchfunder community to understand which services and software solutions present the biggest challenges for operators post-acquisition. Some of the areas I often hear operators struggle with I have listed below. What are your top three categories where you wish you had more help?
Bookkeeping & Tax
Payroll / HR
Recruiting
Marketing and Ads
ERPs
Banking
Legal
Website Help
Business Banking
Insurance
Anyone have any specific tools or services have you tried?
Any solutions you've found that work well?
Hope this can be a post for others to find the best 3rd party services and softwares for running SMBs

I would add one more critical area: Customer Relationships. Pre-acquisition, my firm WHIZDOM specializes in conducting Customer Due Diligence.
Post-acquisition, WHIZDOM works with portfolio company CEOs in two ways:
• WHIZDOM interviews Customers to understand the impact of the acquisition, negatively or positively, on Customer relationships.
• WHIZDOM enables CEOs to grow revenues by better understanding their Customers and gain insights on how to retain current Customers, reduce churn and attract new Customers.
