President Successor Opportunity — Profitable Manufacturing & Defense-Tech Company
We are seeking a searcher / operator to step into a President successor track role at a profitable, founder-led manufacturing and technology company. The business serves defense, infrastructure, and industrial customers, with products including pole inspection camera systems and gun bore inspection systems. The company is entering a planned leadership transition, with the current President targeting retirement in ~18–24 months. This role begins as a senior operating leader (VP Strategy & Operations) and is designed to transition into President. Who we’re looking for: • Senior operating experience in manufacturing / industrial / hardware businesses • Strong execution mindset (systems, cadence, accountability) • Comfortable leading engineers, operators, and production teams • Experience operating or scaling a $10M–$150M revenue business • Owner mentality; excited by succession, not just title What you’ll do: • Run company-wide operating cadence • Modernize systems and workflows (ERP experience required; SAP a plus-both already in place) • Align engineering, operations, manufacturing, and commercial teams • Earn the right to step into the President role Compensation: • Competitive salary • Performance-based bonus • Long-term incentive / equity aligned with succession 📍 Long Island (on-site) This is a true succession opportunity with real authority and a clear path to President.
