You are absolutely right, most of the raw data in Nordics is public. But gathering them together in a concrete analysis can take a few hours for each company. I am evaluating (also hard to evaluate in the trial period!) whether the analysis, aggregation, normalization, ownership mapping, screening and workflow save enough time to justify the discounted price. Our use case is slightly broader, we are building a repeatable sourcing process across 3 B2B themes, and we want to test whether the tool helps move faster to a qualified shortlist.

Thanks William, it’s exactly the question we are asking ourselves. I probably used “deep analysis” too loosely. What I mean is not that it creates a proprietary investment memo or replaces our own diligence. The company-level details appear to include things like multi-year financials, profitability/margin trends, ownership and beneficial owner information, group structure, board/key people, filings, sector/peer context, transaction/M&A context, similar-company search, saved lists and exports. My understanding is that the truly proprietary part is less the raw data itself and more the data & analysis across many private companies. What we specifically need it to do is: 1. build screened lists of Nordic owner-led B2B companies ; 2. identify founder/family ownership and group structures faster; 3. find similar companies around targets I already like; 4. monitor saved lists for new financials/ownership changes; 5. export shortlisted companies into my own CRM/deal-flow tracker. 6. Accelerate our own diligence with analysis available for each company. Also, It does not solve contact details or CRM for me, so I am not viewing it as a full sourcing stack. The decision is whether the discounted price is justified by time saved and better target coverage versus doing this manually.
