The role has flexible work hours is fully remote. It includes training that will prepare someone for investment banking, private equity, corporate M&A and business development roles. Additionally, the intern will be able to fill out thier resume with valuable bullets on their experience. Please see the following from our past intern Private Equity Associate Sourcing Investment Opportunities * Employees creative business development techniques such as web scraping, networking virtually during COVID and building relationships with business brokers to identify, screen and obtain 100+ acquisition opportunities * Sent automated email campaigns to over 1,800 business brokers, increasing qualified deal flow by 180% Due Diligence on Automated Assembly Machine Manufacturer * Analyzed and synthesized industry reports to think through impact of COVID-19 on assembly line manufacturing * Identified key competitors within California to assess how the company’s services and offerings compare to peers * Developed a 5-year leveraged buyout financial model with varying scenarios for COVID economic recovery Marketing Presence * Updated the company website, one pager, and PowerPoint deck with new information and improved visual layout * Created and managed a LinkedIn social presence to connect with more business brokers ---- Ideal candidates could be recent grads job-hunting or a student taking the semester off and time will be spent: • Identifying and leading outreach to target companies • Screening inbound opportunities • Conducting broker/banker research and outreach • Researching industries and competitors • • Other activities, as needed The ideal candidate will have some finance/accounting knowledge, excellent English, intermediate/ Excel skills, a strong work ethic, and willingness to work independently and speak with owners and deal intermediaries.
