Pro Forma Excel Template Self Funded Search - Sponsor/LP

Hello Everyone,

I'm looking for a proforma GP/LP where LP is investing the 10% equity gap, a seller note, and an SBA loan. I'm looking to calculate the equity metrics based on the LP investment, the preferred returns, the debt coverage ratio, and IRR.

It is really worth reviewing the Live Oak Bank Cashflow Model as well at the Steve Ressler model presented in the 5 Tips for Self Funded Searches which you can find here on Searchfunder. Working through several models really helped me to better understand the various ways to building out the investor vehicle. Still lots to learn!

This is really helpful, Tim. Thanks for making this available. I'm currently playing with ChatGPT to see if it can provide a helpful starting point / save time in building from scratch. It gets close, but not quite as clean as I'd prefer.
