SBA lenders - where an independent third party or a minority shareholder (less than 20% in acquiring SPV) facilitates an acquisition involving SBA finance, is there any restriction on the seller paying a 'facilitation fee' to that third party of 5-10% of EV, or is there a specific rule against this in the current SOP? To be clear, the third party transaction facilitator is not an equity contributor to the transaction.

I would be happy to have a discussion and try to answer your question. I am not sure what you mean by a facilitator fee either. You can reach me here or directly at redacted

^redacted‌ what do you mean by a facilitation fee? What are the services that the third party is providing?
