Question for the Searchers

Does anyone (when looking at a potential acquisition) assess potential operational/revenue enhancements AI could bring to a business you're looking at? For example, you have your eye on a business but the metrics that matter to you aren't passing muster, however, if integrating an AI solution into that business meaningfully moves those metrics into positive territory, which would otherwise be absent, would a tool that factors this be: 1.) Useful 2.) Would it change your search criteria/evaluation standards? 3.) Would it be otherwise beneficial for a reason I can't think of here, lol?
