Quick question: how to order search results by recency?

I've had difficulty sorting search results on this site.

For instance, when trying to find recent posts about Canada, I use "Canada" keyword in the top-left search bar, but the results appear unsorted.

On the other hand, I can view my feed in order of recency, but there's no option to filter it using specific keywords.
