Raising a Search Fund as an international in the U.S.

Hi all!

Does anyone have any experience about raising a search fund as an international in the U.S.? Is there a way to ensure "employment" while searching for a deal? I'll be coming off an F-1 Visa and will be elegible for 3 additional years of OPT.

Worth exploring some of the talent visas like O1, EB1a and EB2 NIW as well. We have had success working with entrepreneurs on these categories. No issues with ownership % as is the case for the E2 visa. OPT might be tricky to prove as a searcher.
