The 3 MBA programs with the most active search fund investment communities are by far Harvard Business School, Stanford GSB and Chicago Booth. Some other ones that have programs in the US are Carnegie Mellon, Dartmouth, Michigan Ross, Wharton, and Columbia

That's not to say you need to go to one of these schools to raise a search fund. They just happen to output the most searchers because the traditional investors are mostly alumni of these schools themselves.
