Recommendations for books or courses on digital marketing

I'd like to develop a better understanding around digital marketing, such that after I acquire a business, I'll be more adept at implementing some digital marketing strategies. Wondering if anybody has recommendations for any books or courses that would be helpful.

For me, I knew this an area that I did not have any expertise in and I didn't want to become the CMO of any company that I acquire so I found a digital marketing expert also interested in business acquisitions to partner with.

Thanks for the mention ^redacted‌. Digital marketing is a pretty broad spectrum, and narrows as you define your audience and industry. Without more info on your biz, it's pretty difficult to give good advice. That said, one of the most practical books I've read is 'Traction' by Gabriel Weinberg. It will guide you through the process of creating a strategy, implementing it, and testing it. Another great book is 'Building a story brand" by Donald Miller. He's got some solid, practical marketing advice for people, and has a good podcast. His site, Business Made Simple, has some great marketing info too.

When it comes to execution, most platforms like google and FB literally change on a monthly basis, so learning from their documentation is best.
