Over the past few months, I've been doing a ton of research on recycling companies. Does anyone have experience purchasing recycling companies or any advice on getting into the space?

There's a ton of different routes we've been looking into: plastics recycling, construction and demolition recycling, battery/hardware recycling.

Any and all help is welcome! Thanks in advance.

Commodity prices are paramount. If you buy at the wrong moment it could be deadly. Moreover, the industry as a whole is relatively prone to bad/illegal behaviors and as a consequence you need to be very careful about the sellers. It is a tough environment normally. (we have 2 investments in the space)

Thanks redacted So typically you see that most recycling companies that you have come by are already a part of a larger firm? For example, you're seeing that a company in the manufacturing space may already have a division of the company that is handling recycling as opposed to outsourcing it?
