In the UK does anyone have a steer on investor sentiment on redeemable vs non-redeemable preferred equity investment?

I've found that most investors that I've talked to expect that their shares be redeemed after a certain period. Something like 3-5 years. If you need them in for longer you just need to be clear with your needs upfront. Some investors are ok with longer term holds if dividends are being paid out regularly.

We went for redeemable from the beginning. It was aredline for me as the searcher. I can not think about one investor who was not comfortable with it. Half our investors are US-based but in all the conversations with UK ones, it never came up as an issue.
