I closed in May on a swimming pool and spa maintenance and service. I have some regrets on things I did or did not do on the deal itself, and of course, you think "gee, it would be nice making a nice salary without all these challenges and this stress", but now that I'm starting to see the fruits of my labor (I haven't done a deep analysis, but anecdotally among my techs, we're much busier this offseason than we were last offseason), I'm quite bullish about next summer. So in a word, no, no regrets about leaving corporate America. I haven't dared take a time out of the business to pay myself anything, so still building equity/the business and living off savings, but hopefully after year 1, I can start taking a modest salary and after year 2, perhaps pay myself a liveable wage, LOL.

Lots of ups and down since I left corporate in Ealy###-###-#### No regrets! Wish I had left sooner. Waited too long (18yrs). :-)
On a serious note though... this is a biased group. Most people are here because that's who they are.
In my personal view from lots of observations and conversations, the answer - the path - is different for every person. Different strokes for different folks. Find yours!
And I should add "no wrong answer". So best to avoid being pushed to a certain path because of the posts in your feed or people in your circle.
