We are very excited to offer a Private Equity Analyst / Founder-in-training Get a chance to learn from a world-class entrepreneur's Mike Ballas and Jason Kryski who are 6x founders of tech companies, 2 exits and created 2 billion in enterprise value. You’ll learn a ton, work on many different projects and get exposed to many things that junior folks generally don’t get to see until later in their career. Think of it as an entrepreneurship apprenticeship. The endgame is that you work with us on a new venture in a leadership position, take a role somewhere in our network or depart to start your own thing. Our team: www.ballas.ca/team Our firm: www.ballas.ca Responsibilities * Run a search to find a business to acquire. * Build a financial model for a prospective venture * Craft and execute a plan to research a new market * Execute on a process to locate a new board member. * Complete a pitch and/or presentation deck. Ideal Candidate * Someone looking for their second job. Prefer folks who have had "bad" jobs previously. * Excellent written and verbal communicator. * Ability to construct basic financial models and a hunger to get good at them. * Intelligent with good problem-solving ability * Able to learn things quickly * Self-starter able to and liking to work independently * Two Marshmallow thinker * Detail-oriented with a focus on accountability and correctness * Demonstrated ability to finish things Other Details * We like teaching.
