Hi all -
I will soon be entering the due-diligence phase for a home restoration business (asset sale). This will be my first DD, wanted to ask this community for tips/guidance on how to do it well. Any resources - playbooks, DD checklists, videos etc to recommend? People who have done a DD - what are your biggest learnings? What would you do differently if you were to do your first DD over again? Thank you!

Hi Barun. I have managed diligence for a number of acquisitions in the ecommerce space. So quite a bit different but there are overlaps. Happy to speak directly with you and give you some advice. Feel free to DM me. There's definitely an art and a science. You want to be thorough but you can also get bogged down and never get the deal done. Is this an asset sale or share sale (as that may make a difference in what you need to diligence).
