Recently had a friend share this Twitter thread. Plenty of massive companies in the mix, and your standard B2B services and SaaS companies, but a solid handful of interesting and more unconventional ideas applicable to search as well.

What's the most "out there" business you've looked into, or heard of somebody buying?

Some interesting ones that caught my eye on the thread: bull semen importation / insemination services; hazmat cleanup; cold chain logistics

Ok, this is pretty cool, Mason. I'm a firm believer in this approach. I have a start-up that fits in w/this (scissor rental for barbers), as well as my first company that purchased during my search (seasoned flour for fried chicken & vegetables). Thanks for the link!

Cold chain logistics is a hidden gem. The grocery and restaurant segments have grown tremendously and cold chain companies have benefitted along the way. These buildings can be capitally intensive, but great profit drivers.
