Roll up of Barbershops and Hair Salons?

Has anyone heard of anyone doing a rollup of barbershops and hair salons? I would like to do one in the state of Florida. I have seen a couple of YouTubers that have about ten shops but they have grown them slowly over time and not purchased them for the purpose of running them. Since the average booth rental place would only profit about $2k a month it would take about 50 to get to my target monthly income level but I could do it with minimal outside investors, without giving up any equity, and fairly quickly.
If anyone knows of anyone or what you see as the pros and cons I am open to all feedback and questions. Thanks,

While I've not known anyone personally to do a rollup of barbershops, I would be happy to talk about the subject sometime as someone who knows about the execution of rollups and has some ideas/thoughts to send your way.
