Curious if any searchers / operators have experience in and around niche SaaS based businesses with near shore development teams ($2.5mm EBITDA, $5mm Revenue). Looking at one now and the owner wants to transition out so will be searching for a new CEO who ideally could come in day 1.

My partner and I have hired plenty of nearshore developers in a software dev agency and also multiple SaaS businesses we’ve purchased. My recommendation is not to be excited or opposed to that approach but instead to just evaluate the team’s performance independent of location. And then once you get to know the team you can evaluate each individuals performance, just as you would a team sitting next to you in an office.
