Salesforce vs Pipedrive?

What prompted you to go with Pipedrive as compared to Salesforce? Pipedrive basic: $14/mo. Salesforce sales cloud :$25/mo The price isn’t much of a difference so curious to know where is Pipedrive winning over Salesforce.

^redacted‌ - To me, Salesforce is far more powerful, but that's also its weakness. I've used Salesforce and HubSpot previously in different contexts, and for my search didn't have the discipline to not mess with all the bells and whistles. Pipedrive is straightforward out-of-the-box, so it was easier to focus on the actual searching rather than maintaining the tool. But that was just my experience - everyone likes a different flavor of CRM.

Many years ago I was a product manager of Salesforce at a bank. I've implemented Salesforce for three difference businesses, including on M&A firm. We use pipedrive for our business now. Salesforce is great for enterprise level, very customizable, etc. Pipedrive was faster to setup and integrate, and create an easy B2B sales pipeline for us. For most businesses, especially if you are self-administering, I would recommend pipedrive today.
