I have heard a few people mention they use scraping scripts for list building? Any other programmers out there built these things?

Hey^redacted‌,^redacted‌, ^redacted‌, and others - I'm not a software engineer, and I have only used these scraping tools on a very rudimentary basis (through trial and error), but even with that, I've found them to be a game changer for really targeted prospecting - it might be a cool idea to have a quick and informal virtual Zoom meetup if anyone feels like they can show off the capabilities of a few of the scraping tools they use. Ping me if you are interested in seeing or demonstrating and we'll set up a time to get together...also might be a good potential session for a searchfunder.com-led webinar ^redacted‌ ^redacted

We use Web Scraper (https://www.webscraper.io/) and Data Miner (https://data-miner.io/).

Neither are for the non-techie but they work amazingly well. The trick is to build a script that will automatically run the scraper on a set schedule.

Lists change and this is the only viable method we have found on keeping up on accuracy. Hopefully this helps.
