Interested in experiences with zoominfo and others like apollo.io, inven, etc. Pluses and minuses, value vs cost? Any other platforms that you've found helpful?

Thanks ^^redacted‌ for the tag here. ^redacted‌ thanks for your post, happy to chat sometime. Each database you mention will have certain pros/cons depending what data points you care about, and coverage for specific kinds of companies (esp private market orgs) can vary. Diversity of the kinds of data points is also something to consider. Our database with Diffbot has coverage for 270M+ org records, using our AI to aggregate firmographic, person and news intelligence to them from sources from all over the public web. Private market orgs are easier for us to collect info on because we can collect data from non-mainstream sources some of the tools you mentioned wouldn't. So method of data collection will also define how outputs look.

Happy to get you (and anyone) free access to data for any testing you might be doing, please feel free to reach out.

Thanks Luke!

I did purchase Zoom info and was able to negotiate the price down significantly (self-funded searcher). I found it useful for personal emails and mobile numbers, but also using the ListMatch function. I'd encourage a trial period to explore.

That said, it's absolutely not necessary for most people and I'd say that being diligent about outreach and follow ups would outweigh the information ZoomInfo provided. I also am not in the camp of casting a wide net to see what hits, and my outreach is much more targeted.
