Hey all I figured I'd update you on my self funded solo search

1/16/2023 Sold my equity out of my other business,
Announced and Started my search. redacted
Jan - June sold my personal house get lots of equity from it, I did a lot of traveling, moved from TN to UT, read some books on searching, articles and listened to podcasts.
June - August this is where I really started searching full time, mainly reaching out to brokers on their websites and jumping on deals when they get listed.

Here are some search numbers:
35 CIM's
8 Deep analysis = spreadsheets, industry, talking to other searchers/network whom are in that industry, competitor analysis, biz plan
4 owner calls or meetings
1 LOI sent last week hoping to get a counter soon! (fingers crossed) HVAC company.

There was one other business I went back and forth on for weeks debating to submit an LOI or not but it just did not feel right. Then after 3 weeks being on the market it went under contract so that helped with that decision.
