Searcher focused on the consumer goods industry

My name is Joe Tamer and I am considering launching a fund to find a deal in the consumer goods industry given my professional experience as an executive at a global food company and as an equity research associate analyzing consumer goods stocks, I am currently acting as the CEO of a consumer goods company in Colombia which I am turning around and setting up to grow internationally.

From my initial research, I am finding there is apprehension re investments in consumer goods, or "B2C", deals and more so when there are assets overseas. Would love to connect with others interested in the industry and/or others who have invested in businesses with international footprints.

Joe - I am a consumer goods searcher with buckets of experiencing the space. . Partnered with a fellow similar searcher and we are focused on a specific market that we understand really well. We are self funded but pre agreed terms with an investor. This makes us more credible when approaching targets. Happy to chat about that if you want.
