^redacted is the co-founder of The Brevoort Company launched in 2019. Akara began his career at Goldman Sachs and subsequently at a large investment firm in New York City. He received his Bachelor of Science from MIT and MBA from Stanford GSB.

Prior to Bonsai, Ryan worked primarily in Bain & Company's Technology practice, Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a concentration in Finance from the University of Virginia.
