We're working hard to grow the Searchfunder community in Maine. Please take a moment to introduce yourself below. Some questions to consider answering: Where are you based? What is your background? What is your search type (self-funded, traditional, independent sponsor, holdco, etc.)? Are you solo, partnered, or looking for a partner? What's your buy box? Have you acquired yet? Where do you need the most help right now? Where can you provide help to others? Anything else on your mind? We'll be able to have much deeper discussions if you can provide as much detail as possible. A paragraph or two is perfect. Be sure to tag (@) when replying to comments to make sure your sub-comments are read.

Hey fellow Mainers! I’m based in Portland. My background’s in transaction advisory - I spent years at PwC running buy-side and sell-side diligence, 100+ deals, before starting Forward Firm, a CPA and M&A advisory practice rooted here in Maine. We provide QofE, FDD, bookkeeping, and tax services for lower-middle-market transactions and businesses. I’m also building Finsider (finsider.ai), an automation platform aimed at automating QofEs and financial reporting. On the acquirer side: I’m also part of an independent sponsor group, At-Nexus. Where I can help others is the diligence itself, since it’s what I do all day. If anyone’s wrestling with a QofE, a working capital peg, an earnings red flag, or deal structuring, send it my way! redacted

Never thought Maine would get mentioned here! I'm based in Lewiston. I have a background in cannabis (wholesale, distribution, and retail). I now offer operational consulting and due diligence for physical product-based businesses. Whether it's operations or not, I'm more than happy to help anyone searching - or thinking of searching - in the state, however I can.
