I'll be launching a search out of NY this month and starting to look at co-working options. Would love to hear what's worked well for NY-based searchers in terms of co-working spots or other outside-apartment work options (hotel lobbies, libraries, clubs?).

If you're a NY-based searcher or CEO, don't hesitate to reach out, I'd love to meet you!

I had my office at a wework when I first started (401 Park Ave S, which is no longer a wework) and it was okay. The biggest problem is that it's sort of too social if you have to do work (though maybe less social now), plus most people there have businesses that I couldn't explain or were SEO experts (there were like 12 in the office). It's good to have a small office or somewhere to crash for a day, but I found most of them were too loud to really do work unless I was away from common areas. I liked "The Yard" a bit better - it's quieter. The spaces are not as sleek/modern, but you get a bigger office and I found the businesses to be a bit more mature/established. Happy to chat or get coffee when you're in the city. My office is in Times Square (I didn't pick the location) if you're interested.

WeWork FTW though location matters. I work out of the one on 53rd and 3rd and it is relatively quite. The locations in Flatiron and SoHo are far more social. When I was starting my search, I looked at over a dozen co-working option and it is still, by far, the best deal.

Also, I am in NYC and closing my first acquisition. Happy to chat - drop me a note at redacted
