We're working hard to grow the Searchfunder community in Texas. Please take a moment to introduce yourself below. Some questions to consider answering: Where are you based? What is your background? What's your buy box? Have you acquired yet? Where do you need the most help right now? Where can you provide help to others? Anything else on your mind? We'll be able to have much deeper discussions if you can provide as much detail as possible. A paragraph or two is perfect. Be sure to tag (@) when replying to comments to make sure your sub-comments are read. I have separate threads going for Austin, San Antonio, Houston & DFW, but we have a lot of folks outside of the major metro areas. Please use this as an opportunity to collaborate regionally. :-)

I am based in Arlington, TX. My background is diversified, with experience as a strategy consultant, private equity CEO, and entrepreneur. I spent time advising various Fortune 500 companies and working for Google as an employee. I am targeting home care companies nationwide with $1M+ EBITDA. I have not yet acquired anything, but I am actively negotiating an LOI with a seller. I don’t actively need help with anything at the moment, but if the LOI is signed, I certainly wouldn’t turn down assistance with due diligence if someone wants exposure to the process. I can provide advice on all sorts of topics from my experience so far, including speaking with sellers, LOI terms, banks, brokers, deal structures, etc. I have previous M&A experience, but in the middle-market. The only other item on my mind is my continual amazement at the wide range of quality in both opportunities and conversations. It really is still the wild west out there!
