Heather, I am aware of what you write above. But I'm trying to get statistics for the distribution / proportion of loans with SBA guarantees in relation to the actual down payments / equity variations of buyers.
Such as, for example: X% of that kind of funding pertains to 10% down payments; Y% 20% down payments. Z% 25% down payments. etc.

Knowing this, upfront, helps buyers screen potential acquisitions, upfront, so buyers and sellers don't waste time on deals that cannot be funded due to buyers not having sufficient capital to invest upfront (re the post-closing company's ability to service the debt, i.e., debt coverage ratio).

If you cannot help me get the facts I'm trying to find, I hope you will direct me to a resource that has the facts.

Believe me: I've seen hundreds of disappointed buyers and sellers who upfront did not know what I am asking you to reveal.

I do not know of any database which tracks the down payment %'s on SBA loans. I could only tell you what I see anecdotally. I can also say that lender's make the final call on the required injection based on their own credit risk appetite as well as the other risk factors they perceive in the individual deals.
