Seeking advice for low voltage electric contract acquisition

Hi,

I am a searcher currently analyzing potential opportunities in a low voltage electric contract company in the bay area. I would love to speak to anyone who has experience in this industry. I want to make sure I cover all risks before proceeding further.

Below are some of the hurdles/risks I see at the moment.

C-10 and general B license requirement. I don’t have them and I want to understand the risk of designating an employee
Owner relationship-driven business. This is a $3M revenue, 7 employee company. How likely is it that the business will leave along with the owner?
Hiring and training of employees. How tight is the hiring market for electricians? How difficult is it to train a newly hired electrician out of technical school?

You will need to rely on the employee so she will have leverage over you. 2) you can put in a non-compete clause, 3) electricians are in high demand. It will be competitive market for electricians
