Token Capital Group is an AI-native independent sponsor based in Charlotte, North Carolina, acquiring lower middle market businesses. We are developing a consolidation thesis in agent-based trucking platforms, and we are looking for one industry operator to build it with us. The role would be an Operating Partner seat with equity in the platform, involvement from thesis validation and diligence through post-close execution, and help inform how the platform is built. For anyone unfamiliar with the segment, these are motor carriers that run through networks of independent freight agents rather than an employed sales force. The platform holds the authority and provides the back office: factoring and weekly settlement, customer credit, master insurance, DOT compliance, fuel programs, and technology. The agent owns the customer relationship. Owner-operators and approved carriers provide the capacity. The thesis fits our investment framework closely. What we do not have is an operator who has lived inside this model and I would rather find that person through someone's direct recommendation than through a recruiter. Specifically, I would like to be introduced to: - Current or former executives from agent-based networks such as Landstar, Mercer, Bennett, Evans Delivery, or SPI Logistics, particularly anyone who has run agent recruiting, agent retention, or a regional network - Intermodal and drayage leaders with port and rail terminal experience, and relationships with steamship lines and intermodal marketing companies - Anyone who has owned the working capital side of a carrier or platform: the factoring facility, advance rates and quick pay economics, or a master insurance program and its loss ratio - Operators who have actually deployed TMS, pricing, or automation tooling inside a brokerage or agent network, and can speak honestly about what agents will and will not adopt If this describes you, or someone you know well enough to introduce, I would welcome the conversation.
