Seeking Introductions for an Atlanta Dry-Cleaning Roll-Up

Hey all – Theo here. Excited to join the ETA community! I helped co-found and scale a laundry start-up based in Decatur, GA. Since 2016 we’ve operated a full-service B2B hospitality laundry program – rooms linen, employee/guest dry cleaning & laundry – alongside a B2C dry-cleaning brand. That experience gave me a front-row seat to how assembly automation (Metalprogetti), modern finishing/pressing equipment, and integrated barcode tracking can materially improve throughput, accuracy, and margins. Over eight years, I served as GM of all operations (and chief mechanic). After stepping back in 2024 to pursue my MBA, I’m now exploring a retail-focused dry-cleaning roll-up in the northern suburbs of Atlanta. The strategy is straightforward: acquire mom-and-pop cleaners that still produce in-house, centralize production at a modern hub, and convert acquired locations into high-margin drop stores. I’m an operator first – building culture, optimizing production, and managing client relationships are where I excel – and I’m looking for an investor who brings a complementary strategic-finance perspective as we scale. What & Where I’m targeting: • Stores in Alpharetta, Roswell, Johns Creek, Marietta/East Cobb, & Sandy Springs • Aging ownership or succession timing (especially with a lease renewal coming up) • Under-optimized operations that would benefit from centralized production • Locations with strong route potential or high commuter traffic • Ideally suitable for 24/7 pickup/drop-off kiosk conversion (not essential) At this stage, I’m looking to build connections with interested investors and mentors as well as searchers/operators exploring similar service-based roll-ups.
