Seeking Searcher for NYC Area Light Manufacturing

I’m reaching out to see whether any Searchfunder users might be interested in a real, near-term acquisition opportunity that would be an excellent "starter business" for a searcher. I am currently under LOI on a niche contract manufacturing business located within close proximity to New York City (Ocean County, NJ). The business does approximately ~$2.5M in revenue and ~$400–500K of adjusted EBITDA, with a straightforward operating model, a small team, and long-standing customer relationships. In short, it’s a very manageable, “learn-by-doing” business for a first-time operator. While I believe strongly in the opportunity, I do not have the bandwidth to step in as the full-time operator. Instead, I’m exploring whether a Searchfunder would be interested in leading the business day to day as an owner-operator. I'd be: Providing a portion of the required equity capital Serving as an active mentor and board-level advisor Offering ongoing coaching, strategic guidance, and oversight post-close The goal would be to partner with a motivated operator who wants real responsibility, meaningful ownership, and hands-on ETA experience — with support, but not micromanagement.
