Self funded/ fund backed search

I am interested to speak with any one who went through a self funded search with an equity injection backed by a fund and how they structured the deal.

We need to improve the title on the post to make it clearer what you are asking. I recommend “Has any self-funded Searcher raised equity from a fund?” Or something similar “How should a self funded searcher structure an equity injection from a fund?”
