Does anyone know of a self-funded Search Fund that raised money for Due Diligence on a specific Deal?

We have looked at funding diligence costs for searchers in the past, and we'd be open to discussing it with you. But, for us it really depends deal-by-deal. We have to really like the deal, and obviously would receive a step-up on our costs towards equity in the deal if it goes through. Feel free to email me redacted and we can chat further.

Unfortunately not, but thanks for thinking of me. We only invest in Canada and USA, but sometimes with SAAS companies you can "relocate" the IP to North America, so that can sometimes work too. But, that only makes sense if the search fund is based in North America too.
