Self-Funded Searcher -- Connecting in NYC & Forming Feedback Loops

Hello Everyone,

New member here. I am a self-funded searcher with a background in real assets, PE and VC. I am focused on hard asset servicing businesses and niche manufacturing businesses (target SDE $750K+). I am based in New York and always looking to connect over drinks/coffee/lunch etc. with other folks to learn, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities.

Additionally, I am particularly curious to hear how other self-funded searchers have thought about forming the right group of vested advisors (boards, directors, etc.).

Thanks for the tag Luke. I am happy to network as well... I see you do meet ups on the west coast, but could we plan to do one in NYC for something like this?
