I’ve spent a lot of time around SearchFunder and one thing I’ve learned is this: Most buyers spend tens of thousands on diligence to confirm the numbers they were given. Very few spend time asking whether the numbers themselves are structurally right. That’s why we’re opening up a limited number of 5-Day Value Assessments for recurring revenue businesses generating $2M+ of EBITDA. The goal isn’t to replace a Quality of Earnings report. It’s to pressure test the business before you spend money on one. In five business days, we’ll analyze three years of financials and deliver: • A view of reported EBITDA versus what we believe is true operating EBITDA • Areas where margin leakage, cost allocations, vendor fragmentation, pricing issues, and other distortions may be impacting profitability • Sources of unrealized EBITDA and potential enterprise value expansion • Risks that deserve deeper investigation before moving forward • A decision-grade summary that can help buyers focus formal diligence on the areas that matter most Think of it as a financial MRI before ordering surgery. For owners, it provides an independent perspective on what the business may actually be worth and where hidden value may exist. For buyers, it can potentially save significant time and money by identifying where to concentrate diligence before commissioning a full QoE. Current criteria: • U.S.-based companies only • Recurring revenue business models • Minimum $2M EBITDA (not SDE) • Three years of P&Ls available • SaaS, Cloud, PaaS, IaaS, MSP, IT Services, membership, and other recurring revenue businesses preferred This is not consulting. We’re using these engagements to continue refining Valence, our EBITDA Intelligence platform. In return, participants receive the assessment at no cost. If you’re EVALUATING an acquisition or currently OWN a recurring revenue business that meets the above criteria, send me a DM or email redacted Quality of Earnings tells you whether the numbers add up. We’re interested in determining whether they’re actually right.
