Sharing a CIM with others

Probably a basic question but wanted to learn what is the recommended action to take if one wanted to share a CIM with an industry expert (or even potential investors)?

Should I get that person to sign the broker's NDA or have one of my own (maybe with a non-circumvention clause)?

Curious to find out what is standard practice. Thanks

I agree with Edward. Most broker NDAs allow you to share the CIM with your advisors, but it's your responsibility that they don't share the information with anyone else. Having the advisor sign your NDA is normal.

Have your own NDA. Protect yourself.
There's no problem with sharing the CIM, just be thoughtful about how you do it and know who you're sharing it with.
