I am on an interesting deal with my Search Fund in Italy and it will be my first time to report on a deal to all my investors.

What did you find works particularly well in terms of sharing the investment case with the investors?

My idea is that I want to share with all the investors the overview of the company and my analysis of the deal before I engage further with the seller and go into the LOI stage (in order to be sure that the deal gets funded, if it gets there).

I am curious to know if any searcher out there:

- has found that a particular way works pretty well in order to present deals to investors. Do you then seek a consensus among the investors in order to proceed? Or just a board approval?

- what worked well in order to deal with comments from a lot of investors at a very early stage of the transaction - balancing the need to gather interest from your investors before proceeding and sharing too early so that you might not go ahead on a very interesting deal.

Thank you!

Guido
