**New Video Alert! A lot of people who lose a job start wondering if buying a business could be the answer. But that can be a dangerous way to think. In this episode, I explain when buying a business after job loss might make sense, when it does not, and why desperation, shrinking savings, and the wrong kind of deal can create a much bigger problem. Can take a very long time to go from deciding on ETA as an option to actually owning a business, and depending on how long it took to make this choice after job hunting for months and months, you might not have the runway or determination to carry it through to the finish line.

Agreed that it can be dangerous, especially if done out of inability to find a job. To do this right takes intention, not desperation
