Sobering "gut-check" before the weekend...(jot this on a sticky note)

Say it with me ---- "Perfect is the opposite of Done."

A tad ruthless? Yes, ouch.

A smidge oversimplified? Totally.

But, boy-oh-boy is this so true it hurts? Yup!

So, if you've been staring at a prospect list all week obsessing over EXACTLY what to say when that off-market seller picks up the phone --- just make the dadgum call (the sooner you start dialing for dollars, the sooner you'll sound sharp)...

Or maybe you've spent days agonizing over the perfect LLC name and logo color-scheme for your upcoming search effort --- for heaven's sake just pick something, make the last word "capital" and move on to the important stuff (ditch the name/logo down the line if you find something you like better)....

Or, if you've ALEADY read 27 different blog post comparing every single CRM system known to man in hopes of saving yourself a piddly $7 per month --- just pick one and start building your list (you can always switch horses later...i've tried at least 4)...

I could go on and on (and I probably should, for my own sake). But you get the point.

How's that for a kick in the nuggets? Cheers!

The technique that is working for us is to implement one improvement a day. Nothing like a deadline to keep you focused on what's achievable. Most days don't feel transformational but every day shows some improvement which compounds over time.

Very good idea Seth - we are trying something similar and it works like a charm. How do you define priorities / to do's in advance? any particular technique / framework? Thanks
