FYI, I'm in the very early stages of learning and exploring. When I think of search funds, I generally think about lower multiples, lower growth, and solid free cash flow. With this lens, does anyone have any good primers, case studies, reading, or general advice on how to approach the software / tech enabled services market?

Hi Chris, Thanks for sharing your post — getting comfortable with financials and deal structures can definitely feel like a lot at first. One resource that really helped me early on is this one: HBR Guide to Buying a Small Business. Also, as you dive deeper into analyzing deals, you might find BizSphere helpful. It’s a platform built to help you break down financials, understand valuation and deal structures, and flag risks early — all areas you mentioned you’re focusing on. We’re currently offering early access to the MVP at a lower price if you want to check it out: https://bizsphere.ai. Best, Ahsan
