Looking for data on the Canadian HVAC and plumbing market, including annual projected installation units, brand trends, and the breakdown between new construction, remodeling, and maintenance. Information like this to help in projecting Total Addressable Market (TAM) and deals available?

Obvious sources include IBIS reports and Stats Canada. Any other recommendations?

Thank you!

There may be specific trade publications to aid your research. I would also reach out to your local college(s) if they happen to have HVAC training programs, as I would expect the program staff would likely have resources to draw upon. Finally, there had been provincial and federal incentives for the adoption of Heat Pumps (programs may have sunsetted by now - may want to double check). As a measure of program effectiveness, the respective government agencies running the programs may have compiled some stats.
Also to note, the absence of those programs may negatively impact the sector, although in BC, I would argue the province is still likely ripe for growth in HVAC - still lots of older homes and apartments without AC, and AC on new builds is a must-have.
Good luck!
