Sourcing Analyst Intern Summer 2026

We are looking for motivated undergraduate students to join our sourcing team as Sourcing Analysts. This role is designed for undergraduate students interested in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, investment research, and lower-middle-market. As a Sourcing Analyst, you will be responsible for: - Identifying potential acquisition targets based on assigned industry criteria - Conducting screening and completing company profiles - Draft acquisition Rationale - Presenting sourced companies - Incorporating feedback from the Team Lead to improve future sourcing quality Qualifications Ideal candidates should have: - Interest in private equity, M&A, entrepreneurship, business ownership, or investment research - Strong research and analytical skills - Attention to detail - Ability to summarize business information clearly - Strong communication skills - Self-motivation and ability to meet weekly deadlines - Prior experience with LinkedIn, PitchBook, Crunchbase, Preqin, Searchfunder, or similar platforms is preferred but not required This role provides hands-on exposure to the private equity sourcing process, including: - Lower-middle-market acquisition research - Industry and company screening - Add-on and platform acquisition strategies - Business model analysis - Deal pipeline development - Presentation and communication skills - Experience working with CRM and sourcing tools
